I was at Suria yesterday at Times bookstore and overheard this very interesting conversation.
Mom (very thick British accent, Malaysian) : *was telling her daughter [12 years old] about one of Shakespeare's sonnets*...if you want to know more, I can tell you along the way home. I don't want you to follow the rest of the girls, reading trashy novels like Twilight or any trashy magazines. I'm very pleased you are picking up Shakespeare.
Son: Mummy, can we go to the CD section? I want to watch The Incredible Hulk.
Mom: *ignoring son and continue lecturing daughter about trashy novels*
Son: *throwing tantrum*
Dad: Do not make such a scene here, young man.
Mom: You are not going to watch The Hulk.*insert son's name*, look in the cart, 6 classic literature, which cost me 60 bucks only and this *holding out one set of Diary of a Wimpy Kid* cost the exact same amount,it's not worth the money, do you know where I could find this *insert son's name*..in the LIBRARY [yes, she emphasize the word]. I am going to get a better reading book.
Son: 8;(
That kid is really going to have no memorable childhood at all...he's only 5. I got myself a Marie Antoinette Journey.

This is the happy face
I have not studied my driving test yet.... :D
I'm gonna start working next month... :D :D
There's a jazz concert next week... :D :D :D
I've been standing side by side with you and you're begging people to pity...pleaseee, you're way better than that. Don't sink that low...

Dream a little dream of me
Sweet dreams til sun beams find you
sweet dreams that leave our worries behind you.
But in your dreams
whatever they be
dream a little dream of me.
